4-Step Cognitive Framework


The 4-Step Cognitive Framework is the key to emotion conversion an a life of EASE! It is primarily an exercise that, once learned, will become automatic for you. The process is a psychological technique to reframe negative thinking through cognitive-affect-behavioral learning. The reframed neurons in your cortex, standing watch over your pathways for information en route to the thalamus and limibic system, when called upon in the future to act as triggers for arousal, will mediate positive emotion leading to a reduction of adrenalin in your body. This restores the balance between the sympathetic (fight/flight) and parasympathetic (calming/restoring) branches of your autonomic nervous system (ANS).

As information from your senses is filtered through the newly formed amygdala/thalamus/cortex interaction, the reframed neurons in your cortex moderate impulses toward negative behavior, favoring positive responses that affirm you. This interaction generates positive emotion that leads to raised self-confidence and self-esteem. The four steps in this life changing cognitive framework are as follows:
